I joined in 2016 looking for a mc server and cc was the first and probably the only one i joined
Shortly after I joined I Met Jefferson , Mahahi , Cluster21 and we made a town , we started as 4-5 peopel but eventually it became the biggest town in map 2 also know as the jeff town and later Areez ( he got me muted so many times i cant even count smh ), Maloke , JackHMMR ,zNutorius , ali13 , asasa , Candycreeper , CCtheLilGamer , CrashcpYT , DarkDiamondG , FaitH and many other members joined cant even remember all the names...

Later i met a dude named Joeni and we made the Sugarcane farm which expanded from bedrock to skylimit , Had a lot of fun tp lagging people with it... That was the biggest project i made will be sure to attach an ss of it here
I met a lot of people as time went Rahat_Elric , Vexto , #BlameThunder , Superomega , JayaYahya ( This asshole got me banned with him btw ) , Johnashraf , Poi and mezz ( i still think they are the same )

I cant even remember all of the stuff i did here but i did enjoy doing all of them thanks to these guys <3 All the major things i remember are
/warp Senzumart with ali13 and Candycreeper ( which was def better than /warp c21 btw)
9000 piston auto Sugarcane farm with Joeni
Jeff town with Jefferson
Beating Giga_08 in a 1v1 ( Imagine losing in a 1v1 against survival player )
3 Guardian farms with Rahat Areez and Cluster21
200x200 cactus farm with joopXswag ( #EconomyRip2017 and he never returned my 2.5M )
Winter build event with iAreBirdy ( Great guy ) then Tanmew coppied our design and won cause #ModAbuse

And how can i forget ENDORACRAFT.. The server Benjiii made after he got banned from CC lol...good times ( We secrelty stole members from cc and forced them to join Endoracraft btw....)
That server also went on for a while and i met a Lot of peps from cc there like Redpromon , Tigeropcrafter and others

Then i returned to cc after Endoracraft went down and due to staying with Ben's side for a while I used xray and got
Perm banned By Cyanfray , MagicmikeXXL , Maloke , Tan and Sami.....All of them had some contributions in banning me which is a longer story than time itself... Apparently i wasted a LOT of their time on this issue

I did appeal and got unbanned afterwards but lost interest in minecraft and left the server

Welp that was a fun nostalgia trip...Won't ever forget the time i spent with the people here and if you read it this far Like , Share and Subscribe

I will say I was a nuisance throughout the beginning of the server, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time with you guys. The server was my home away from the chaotic life I was cursed with as a child. Loosing my father the year of 2011 was very rough for me so I sheltered myself into my room and stayed up many of hours on Conspiracy. Conspiracycraft was my escape from my mind, my one main joy, and I felt as if many of the community members we're more family than most of the family I knew IRL. For that I thank you guys truthfully. I apologize for being a little bit of a problem for you Jamm, as i was an angry child, but as I sit here at 20 and reminisce on all my memories on your server I do realize a part of me will go with the server. But with that said, I hope you and all the people who knew me succeed with whatever is next in your lives! Sincerely, Gamer214

In short, the time has come for CC to close. It has been almost a year now since closing factions and we have managed to revive the server, but it didn't do as well as it needed to for me to justify another map. I brought a partner on a couple days ago who was interested in continuing the legacy of CC, and eventually taking over the business completely, but it did not work out the way I planned.

Yes, we have already been working on map 6 and were planning on releasing it, but during development I started getting this nagging feeling because I knew the server under-performed my expectations for the year, and that I told myself I would leave it in the past if that happened, so here we are. I have written the story of the server below, since it's a lot different than how basically every server you know of got started, and I'm sure some of you who don't already know it would love to hear it.

Check the very bottom for FAQ's! I as well as the other staff members will be on Discord for most of the day to chat with the community, have fun and answer your questions.

The Story of ConspiracyCraft

The year is 2012, I'm a junior in High School and my friend Jared from Algebra II asked me if I'd ever played Minecraft. I had not heard of it at the time, so I said I'd try it out and went home and downloaded it (cracked obv). I played it for a few weeks and then my friend told me about the server he played on, ran by someone else in the school. It was called Super Epic Build (SEB). It was a cracked building/survival server that averaged 5-10 players. It was my first Minecraft server I ever played on seriously, and the only one until after CC came into existence.

I bought Minecraft but still played SEB for a year, then I started getting bored because the owner never did anything with the server. He was inactive and people were just not having fun. Modding (with plugins) was gaining popularity at the time, and not many people were taking advantage of it, so that's when I started CreeperCraft (I have a gift for names, ik).

Server monetization (Enjin/Buycraft) was starting to catch on during this time, so I made a store with Enjin so I could move the server off of my computer and onto a real host. The server was actually started on my laptop, true story. It would lag every time I opened Chrome or YouTube. Hosting a server was cheap in those days, so I took the first donation ($20 from DaNOOBDoc911) and purchased a month of hosting from one of the Minecraft hosts.

CreeperCraft was the same as SEB, a small survival server that used factions for land claiming (the name changed to ConspiracyCraft a few months in).. Instead of the focus being on building however, it was focused on creating new experiences through modding. I noticed that despite it being a survival-based server, basically all people did was hang out at spawn and PvP. This eventually lead to the early stages of Factions and Raiding, before cannons, competitive PvP and huge obby bases.

Over the years I continued to improve the server and it always changed based on the demands of the players. We experimented with other gamemodes like KitPvP and Survival Games, but eventually decided to just consolidate and do a couple things the best we could: Factions and Survival.

Up until late 2016, CC was just a nice side-income. At this time I worked in construction and was 21. The server had some months where it made a lot more than I did at my normal job, so come October of 2016, I quit my job and decided to see where it would go. Each month closer to 2017, the server was growing faster and faster. The Minecraft server genre was about to realize it's true potential. I kept working on the server and growing it to the point where we had a peak of 228 players online total in the Summer of 2017. My life changed completely this year, and it was clear to me that I had something worthwhile to focus on giving the world.

After the Summer of 2017 is when the game Fortnite started really taking over the competitive/PvP scene in games. We, as well as many other servers lost loads of players to Fortnite, and it became much harder to thrive in the environment as a business. 2018 marked the beginning of the downfall of Factions, releases that were not meeting expectations, the cheater problem getting worse and increasing tensions between players and staff. I continued to work as hard as I could to bring the server back to its former glory, the Map 12 days, but had no luck replicating it in 2018 or 2019. Eventually the difficult decision to close factions was made at the end of October in 2019, and we decided to focus only on Survival.

This was a great decision, and the server made a huge comeback both financially and player-count wise. We didn't break our record of 228 players online again, but we did manage to hit 135 players on Survival during the worst part of the covid-19 pandemic. As it turns out, online games were and are the perfect fit for quarantine since you can both play and socialize. Things went pretty well this year and we managed to revive Survival, bring it to new players, and get a total of over 50k players to join Map 5 of Survival.

Now, here we are in the last quarter of 2020. This year has gone by fast, and I've enjoyed what I knew might be my last year running CC. I hope you guys have had a great time this year, and made plenty new friends, because at the end of the day, that's what CC was originally for. The server has served its purpose over the past (almost) 8 years, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity you guys gave me. Over the years, we have had several hundred thousand unique players join CC, and that to me is a huge achievement.

I am 25 now and am ready to start the next chapter of my life. We grow, and our priorities change. I would love to continue CC on the side, but it's too difficult to meet expectations and still do what I need to do IRL to ensure my future career.

For the past 4 years, my life has heavily revolved around this server.. I will always cherish the memories and friendships I've made from this experience that will live on for years to come. I'm hoping that the friends you have made here will last, and the memories you made here will be remembered long into your adulthood. This was by design, my friends. I love you guys and do not regret a second of any of my time in the Minecraft community. I would like to thank everyone who ever helped out with CC- old and current staff members, developers and of course our supporters! The server would not have been possible without you!

FAQ

Will the Discord get deleted?
Eventually yes, but not for the time being.
Update: No! Sami and Billy have volunteered to run it. The community will remain in-tact.

When will the server actually close?
Next Saturday at 13:00 server time.
Update: The server was whitelisted due to y'all treating it like anarchy week!
It will open Saturday morning and stay open until around 13:00.

Will staff still be around until it closes?
Yes.

Can I have a refund?
No, unless you bought a name-change/tag that has not been fulfilled yet.

Is the server for sale?
No, but if the right person for the job ever comes around, at the right price, I would consider it. You can contact me for business via Discord at Jamm#0747.

Are you ever going to make another server?
Possibly. If I ever start another server it will probably be something that will be made to create jobs and solve an important large-scale problem in the space, rather than be a small sole proprietorship.

I've Joined your little server around the first map as "Jason" plain simple. really old player. Early 2015, I didn't know of online forms and threads.

its my first Minecraft server every played. Can you believe it? and the only server I donated to.
And its my first server to buy things from the store. the only server I ever played on till this day.

yes!! this server teached me the art of PAYPAL. lol

I remember to build my reputation to run for staff, only to be shot down. lmfao, I "was" a salty player, but I was genuinely trying to change to help the server and bring my part by donating a lot of money to the server, but your staff was against me. I remember to think about why you guys didn't make me a staff member lol. I changed and I helped even though I'm not staff.

But all that aside, Jamm I wish you could continue this amazing server, the reason I didn't play much was because, I'm an extremely old player and didn't get the staff rank, It got to me because I really tried. no heart feeling man.

the server was so good It got me coming back just to chat to the old players who might know me.

Speechless. I was going to make a reappearance and figured I would stop by to see if there has been any changes, and I am glad i did!! It's a sad thing to see the end of this chapter, but nothing lasts forever i suppose!

Thanks Jamm for giving us the platform to create, to inspire, to socialize, and to collaborate. Some of my best video gaming memories were with some really good human beings on ConspiracyCraft.

If anyone would like to invite me to create and inspire with them, I suppose I'll be keeping my eye out for my minecraft family and invites on my discord!

I was an older player and staff member from years ago. Time flew by, I am graduating with a computer science degree this spring.

I will never forget my time playing here. Big thank you to Jamm and the entire community.
